Adderall May Have Unhinged Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan's Adderall dependence -- the result of a medical misdiagnosis -- may have been the reason she went off the rails.
As we first reported, the docs at the UCLA rehab facility believe Lindsay was misdiagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ... and then prescribed Adderall to treat the phantom affliction.
Dr. Joe Haraszti -- a prominent L.A. addiction specialist -- tells TMZ ... people who take Adderall when they don't need it can experience similar effects as people who use cocaine or methamphetamine.
Dr. Haraszti tells us ... people who unnecessarily take Adderall can display manic symptoms ... and often do things like "driving around until all hours of the morning ... smoking heavily ... tweeting ... and texting all night long." The doc adds, "They can become very impulsive."
The doc also notes that people in that situation "might then complain of insomnia and then take Ambien or other sleep aids to help fall asleep ... it's a vicious cycle"
Dr. Marc Kern -- another addiction expert -- tells us alcohol abuse is also very common among patients who take Adderall.
Dr. Kern tells us, "The Adderall counteracts the sedative side effects of alcohol use … making these people often drink more than someone who does not take the drug."

Lindsay Lohan Will Be Released This Week!
According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan will definitely be getting out of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital this week!

TMZ says:
"Our sources say Lindsay's doctors have not written their final report, but they have already concluded her psychiatric problems are not nearly as severe as first thought. We've been told there were indications Lindsay was bipolar but that proved not to be the case.
In addition, the doctors do not believe the drug dependency issues are as severe as first thought. As we reported, Lindsay had big issues with Adderall, but the docs don't think it requires much more inpatient care.
Bottom line ... sources say it's "very possible" Lindsay is getting out this week and will begin getting outpatient care.
One obstacle -- the judge must approve early release. We're told once the doctors write their final report, Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, can go back into court and ask the judge to spring her client from her 90-day rehab sentence.
If the medical professionals think releasing her is a good idea, the judge will almost certainly go along with it."

Lindsay Lohan's Assistant is Mad!
From TMZ:
There is actually a job more insane than being Lindsay Lohan's assistant -- tending to the needs of her mom and sister!
Sources close to Eleonore, Lindsay's long-suffering assistant, tell TMZ she is “miserable,” “super-stressed” and "incredibly worn out" these days -- which is strange because Lindsay has been "away" for nearly a month.
But now she has to do Dina and Ali Lohan's bidding. We're told Dina "goes on about nothing for days," constantly rambling about potential business deals. One such "deal" centers around a storage unit Lindsay has with her old clothes and other belongings that don't fit in her apartment. According to our sources, Dina thinks there's money to be made off the stuff with a Lohan garage sale.
Throw 16-year-old Ali in the mix and now Eleonore's got double the errands, pick ups, drop offs, etc ... and suddenly someone's counting down to Lindsay's release.
82 days to go, Eleonore.

Lindsay Lohan Hologram in Marc Ecko New Ad Campaign
Lindsay Lohan may be in court-ordered rehab, but tonight she’ll make her first post-jail appearance — as a digital hologram, anyway — at Milk Studios, when Marc Ecko "unveils her" as the muse for his Cut & Sew line. Before heading into the slammer, Lohan shot four film-noir-inspired skits with photography team Markus Klinko and Indrani, stars of the Bravo reality series Double Exposure. (Indrani is also rumored to have had an intense, possibly romantic relationship with Lohan, naturally.) Klinko and Indrani filmed Lohan using high-def cameras and “augmented reality” technology. All of Ecko’s advertisements will contain a glyph that, when held up to a webcam, projects a hologram of a digital Lohan dressed in vintage costumes and, presciently, horizontally striped leggings.
“Originally, the concept was pretty simple, but then we had a fifteen-page script that appeared at the last minute, and she was able to work with that," says Indrani. Adds Klinko, “She came in and learned her lines in five minutes, and then she really went beyond the lines and improvised. She showed huge emotional range. It was impressive and moving to watch."

Lindsay Lohan converting to Scientology?
Like stink to shit or Nick Nolte to a yard sale, Scientologists are all over Lindsay Lohan. Because why wouldn't you want to take advantage of someone when they've hit rock bottom? From IUC:
Once she gets out of the pokey (ed. note: now, 90 days in rehab) look for Lindsay Lohan to accumulate better karma by becoming the newest celebrity Scientologist. This according to a high ranking member who has met with Lilo: “Lindsay is ready to join Scientology once she gets out of jail,” the source said. “For months she’s expressed interest in Scientology. Scientology will welcome her. Hopefully she can turn her life around here and realize her enlightenment with Scientology.”
Considering the fact that Scientology is a "religion" that preys on the incompetent and feeble-minded, it's actually quite a surprise that Lindsay didn't join years ago. If Lindsay's hoping her acting career will soar as a member of Scientology, she better have a talk with Kirstie Alley. The only "rolls" she's getting nowadays have butter on them.

Lindsay and I have some crazy things coming down the road and I can’t wait for you to see them! Also in case you missed these photos check them out!
Lindsay Lohan: I want to thank my fans for the mails!
Lindsay Lohan was transported early Monday morning directly from a Lynwood jail -- where she had served 13 days for violating probation on a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence -- to a treatment program at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
The paparazzi followed Lohan as she was given a police escort to the treatment facility, a stint required by a Beverly Hills judge who sentenced her to jail.
"She was noticeably moved by the amount of mail and books sent to her," said sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore. "She thanked everybody as she left."
On Sunday morning, her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, told reporters outside Lynwood's Century Regional Detention Facility that she hoped Lohan would have a few hours of freedom to spend with her family before she went into rehab.
"She is trying to comply with all court orders," Holley said, "but she should have 24 hours at home."
Linsay Lohan is going to UCLA afterall!
From TMZ:
TMZ has learned Judge Marsha Revel had a change of heart after TMZ's story about Lindsay's rehab -- and now she is headed for treatment at UCLA Medical Center ... exactly what her doctors wanted in the first place.
TMZ broke the story Judge Revel had selected Morningside Recovery -- despite the fact that the two court appointed psychiatrists along with other medical professionals were not recommending that facility. The shrinks put UCLA in their top four, but it was the facility favored by everyone because the treatment program was perfectly suited for Lindsay's psychiatric and drug problems.
We're told Lindsay will not be in the psych ward -- rather this is an intense specialized program to deal with psychological, as well as addiction problems.

Breaking Lindsay News: She may get out today!
TMZ just updated about Lindsay!!
There is a "possibility" Lindsay Lohan will be getting out of jail today, this according to her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley.
Holley says she has her fingers crossed that today's the day, joking, "No offense to the city of Lynwood ... but I am really tired of coming here."
Also ... be sure to check out Holley's Amy Winehouse impression. Classic.
Lindsay Lohan's Rehab is for Meth and Bipolar Disorder
From TMZ:
TMZ has learned Lindsay Lohan will be treated for addiction to methamphethamine and bipolar disorder during her court ordered 90 days in rehab.
According to a source familiar with Lindsay's case, methamphetamine and opiates are her "drugs of choice".
Methamphetamine -- also known as crystal meth or simply meth -- is a highly addictive stimulant and opiates, generally, have more of a downer effect.
Morningside Recovery -- the Orange County, CA rehab Lilo's scheduled to enter -- lists opiate and methamphetamine detoxification among its specialties. As TMZ first reported, sources say Morningside was not on the list of facilities recommended by court appointed psychiatrists.
We're told Lindsay will begin her rehab stint almost immediately after getting out of Lynwood Correctional Facility.

Mark Wahlberg: I am 'praying' for Lindsay Lohan
Mark Wahlberg has revealed that he is praying for Lindsay Lohan.
The Other Guys star, who previously spent 45 days in prison on an assault charge, has claimed that the actress's father Michael Lohan had reached out to him in an attempt to help his daughter through her jail sentence.
The 39-year-old told Access Hollywood: "I met him [Michael Lohan] once or twice... But she's certainly in my prayers. Anybody that's having any kind of trouble and needs saving I try to pray for.
"I just wish the best for her and her family, anyone who's incarcerated - that they turn their life around and start doing the right thing."
Judge to Lindsay: Do Dancing With the Stars!
Lindsay Lohan should forget that Linda Lovelace movie.
If she really wants a comeback after her stints in jail and rehab, she should waltz right on over to Dancing With the Stars.
At least that's what one judge thinks.
A Dancing judge, that is.
Carrie Ann Inaba tells us that the fallen starlet is at the top of her list to compete next season. "Lindsay is my No. 1 pick," Inaba told us this morning at the Dizzy Feet Foundation's celebration of National Dance Day in downtown L.A. "I want her so bad!"
How bad?
Well, so bad that when we were talking to Inaba, she actually fell to her knees, put her hands in the prayer position and pleaded, "Please, Lindsay Lohan, come on our show!"
She went on to explain, "I think it would be great for her. She's so adorable. I think she needs a second chance and it would be a wonderful way to show the world she can pull it together."
Meanwhile, Inaba said she hadn't heard the report that Mel Gibson's estranged baby mama Oksana Grigorieva was trying to get on DWTS—a rumor pooh-poohed by sources close to the show.
Even so, Inaba said, "She's a beautiful lady. It would be nice for her to define herself from Mel."
Perhaps it's time for a DWTS spinoff. Let's just call it Dancing With the Trainwrecks.

Lohan's Attorney: May Go Straight to Rehab
Lindsay Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley says she's concerned that Lohan will have to go directly to rehab after jail, rather than being able to have time with her family first.
Lindsay Lohan May Be Replaced In Lovelace Biopic
Not a big surprise, but it appears that Lindsay Lohan’s career is going to take a hit on account of all that time she’s spending in jail and rehab. The producers of the much-buzzed-about Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno, which was supposed to mark LiLo’s acting comeback, might be giving her the boot. Filming was supposed to begin in August, but a 90-day rehab stint would certainly make that hard. Word is the Lindsay will be replaced by Sarah Scott who is rumored to have met with the film’s producers yesterday. So who exactly is Sara Scott? Good question!
The actress has had guest-starring roles on True Blood, Medium, Arrested Development and Nip/Tuck, but this film would mark her first starring role. She’s also got a website where you can watch her acting reel (do yourself a favor and watch till the end - her role as “goth girl on scooter” is a delight). In most of her previous roles and headshots Scott has had blonde hair, but yesterday she was seen with a red dye job which matches Lovelace - and old Lindsay - more closely. Sure, Scott doesn’t share the same alliterative nickname (Lovelace and Lohan are both “LiLo”, or hadn’t you noticed?) but she’s SaSco which is just as catchy.
Lindsay Lohan's Rehab Plans
She’s nearing the end of her time behind bars, and once Lindsay Lohan is released she’ll be headed for rehab.
According to a Radar Online report, the “Mean Girls” actress will be given 24 hours to spend with her family before reporting to Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, California.
Morningside Recovery is set up to help with drug and alcohol rehabilitation as well as mental health issues, and dual diagnosis.
As for her stint in jail, it sounds like LiLo has been hanging in there, though things have definitely been tough to deal with.

Lindsay Lohan Thinks Jail Isn't a Done Deal
Robert Shapiro can work wonders -- he was part of the team that got O.J. Simpson off -- but sources in the crazy world of Lindsay Lohan say he has not convinced her that she must surrender to a jail sentence.
People who are interacting with Lindsay tell TMZ she has been in obsessive denial over her surrender Tuesday, when she must begin serving a 90-day jail sentence -- which will be whittled down to 22 days behind bars.
Lindsay is convinced there is still a way she can avoid jail, even though Shapiro made it clear he would only rep her if she went to the pokey.
Here's the irony -- Lindsay expects Shapiro to pull a Shawn Chapman Holley ... code for getting the judge to overlook her past screw-ups and keep her a free woman. Holley eventually quit when Judge Marsha Revel made it clear ... there were no more cards to play.
And, we're told, the reason it took so long to find a new lawyer is because Lindsay only wanted someone who could keep her out of jail but no credible lawyer would make that promise.
And here's the thing. From what we're hearing, there is no way in hell Judge Revel is going to back down.
