Taylor Swift to Kanye West: No Thanks!

Remember a few weeks ago when Kanye tweeted that he wrote a song for Taylor Swift and that he wants her to perform it? Well, too bad for Kanye because it's not going to happen.

Taylor is apparently NOT going along with his plans to promote his new album. A source told PopEater:

'Taylor writes her own sounds and has been very successful at it. Why would she want to sing one of Kanye's songs? The last thing she wants to do is give him any more attention or make him any money. It's just another insult that..

..this fool thinks she would sing a song he wrote. His ego is out of control. If anything, Kanye should be singing a song that Taylor wrote, not the other way around. As far as Taylor is concerned, he can take his song and shove it.'

Taylors Swift and Lautner Reuniting in Valentine's Day Sequel?

If you've been living under a celluloid rock, the world's romantic comedy stars joined together in February's hot mess, Valentine's Day, and we got treated to tons of celebs popping up for a few minutes here and there in the mostly-OK flick.

Did you miss it? Perhaps you did.

We got Jessica Alba, Bradley Cooper, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel and a ton of other stars showing off their rom-com chops. Including former lovebirds Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner.

For the two pretty teens, this film lit the spark in their once-fiery relationship (Tay-Squared, anyone?). So you can guess how freakin' interested we were when a certain knowledgeable source dropped a hint about the film's upcoming sequel, New Year's Eve...

Turns out it features an all-new cast of characters (quick, somebody call Jennifer Aniston, and please nobody tell Gerard Butler). Unless, of course, one particular starlet is asked to stay—none other than darling Swift!

"They were thinking about having Taylor Swift be in college at NYU," whispers one of our sneakiest sources (who's directly involved with the sequel project). "They were throwing her name out there a while back."

If this is comes to pass, Taylor would probably be the one single cast member returning for the sequel, with the exception of director Garry Marshall mainstay favorite Hector Elizondo, who would return as the grandfather figure.

That's great and stuff, but what's burning on our minds is, would the other half of Tay-Squared also make a return appearance in the sequel?

"I don't think Taylor Lautner would come back," sassed our source. "They only mentioned Taylor Swift, and she's not even in right now."

The chances are slim of both toothy types returning, but ooh, we can just imagine the gooey stuff that would be an on-screen Taylor-Taylor reunion! Can't you?!

(Certainly more than anything they ever offered in real life.)

Taylor Swift has sort out her priorities

Career First, Love Second

Staying on track and focusing on her booming career, Taylor Swift says she’s not looking for love... right now.

“There’s a lot to distract me from dating. I don’t really sit around and wallow in being alone. It’s in my comfort zone, being single,” the country singing cutie said.

Taylor continued, “I feel that a lot happens to you when you’re not looking for it, so I’m not actively looking. I don’t have a problem with being single."

Also opening up about how she lives her life, Miss Swift dished, “I love trying to beat what I’ve done so far … I think about my next move 10 steps ahead. I’m always planning three award shows ahead. For me, planning is a productive way of stressing out about your life.”

Naomi Judd Defends Taylor Swift

Don't let Naomi Judd catch you saying anything bad about Taylor Swift. The veteran country singer has jumped to Swift's defense after she was heavily criticized for her performance at the Grammy Awards last month.

In a letter to the editor of The Tennessean, Judd, calls Swift a "dazzling performer" and lauds her for single-handedly introducing "country music to a much-welcomed younger demographic."

She attributes Swift's less-than-perfect Grammy duet with Stevie Nicks to having an off night. "Having sung many times at the Grammys, I can tell you that the stress and anxiety of performing in front of the world's top artists in every genre of music is tortuous for even the most seasoned singer," Judd writes.

The backlash against Swift began immediately after her Grammy night performance, which the New York Times called "painfully out of tune."

Swift's label head, Scott Borchetta, rushed to her defense last week, calling her "the voice of a generation" and blaming a technical problem as the culprit behind the pitchy performance.

Judd also praises Swift's "smarts, manners and class" as qualities young people should admire and emulate.

"If there's an award for being the best role model for her generation," she writes, "I'd like to be the one to give it to Taylor Swift."

Report: Taylor Swift Dating Corey Monteith

Taylor Swift doesn’t stay single for long! The Grammy winner
is sooo over Taylor Lautner. And Joe Jonas who now? Swift has reportedly moved on with Glee star Corey Monteith!

The two singing sensations were spotted at Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy party over the weekend, but that wasn’t their first date. Taylor and Corey were reportedly seen having dinner earlier in the week at Jerry’s Famous Deli in LA.

Sources tell blog Zacktaylor.ca the two “have been on a few dates.”

Another eyewitness says, "They looked really into each other and at some points he even had his arm around her. It was so cute!" Sources say the two are definitely in the beginning stages of the relationship, but are "seeing where the road leads.”

They’re both very busy right now with work—Taylor is en route to Australia for a show fresh off her Grammy wins, while Corey has been busy finishing up the first season of Glee.

Stay tuned for more on this cute pairing!

Taylor Swift's screaming cat

The [20]-year-old songstress caught up with radio personality Ernie D and dished about her weird cat Indy and also performed “You’re Not Sorry” from her new album, Fearless.

Taylor shared, “My cat is awesome. We have sort of this love-hate relationship where she sort of acts like she hates me when I get home because I’ve been gone for so long. She has this horrible scream that she does. It’s so loud and she runs around the house screaming. Then I wake up the next morning and she’s lying on my chest purring. So it’s a love-hate relationship.

So, this Christmas, I sort of as a joke, bought her this sweater. I’m not the kind of person who dresses up their animals. I just don’t do that. I thought for one time it would be funny to put a Christmas sweater on the cat. I took it off of her after about two minutes and she started screaming. She was so mad at me that I took the sweater off. I put the sweater back on and she started purring. My cat is so weird.”

With a tribute to Michael Jackson and performances by the Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Dave Matthews Band, Eminem and more, the award show will be nothing short of amazing.
