Lindsay Lohan's Adderall dependence -- the result of a medical misdiagnosis -- may have been the reason she went off the rails.

As we first reported, the docs at the UCLA rehab facility believe Lindsay was misdiagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ... and then prescribed Adderall to treat the phantom affliction.

Dr. Joe Haraszti -- a prominent L.A. addiction specialist -- tells TMZ ... people who take Adderall when they don't need it can experience similar effects as people who use cocaine or methamphetamine.

Dr. Haraszti tells us ... people who unnecessarily take Adderall can display manic symptoms ... and often do things like "driving around until all hours of the morning ... smoking heavily ... tweeting ... and texting all night long." The doc adds, "They can become very impulsive."

The doc also notes that people in that situation "might then complain of insomnia and then take Ambien or other sleep aids to help fall asleep ... it's a vicious cycle"

Dr. Marc Kern -- another addiction expert -- tells us alcohol abuse is also very common among patients who take Adderall.

Dr. Kern tells us, "The Adderall counteracts the sedative side effects of alcohol use … making these people often drink more than someone who does not take the drug."

Silence is golden: That's one lesson Demi Lovato has taken away from her brief high-profile romance with Joe Jonas.

After going through a very public breakup last spring, Lovato now says she wishes she'd kept her relationship with her Camp Rock 2 costar quiet.

"I learned my lesson," Lovato, 17, tells PEOPLE. "It's not very much fun when you break up in a public relationship. So, maybe next time keep a secret."

Though the Jonas Brothers member has been portrayed as a heartbreaker, following his split from other young stars like Taylor Swift, Lovato defends him.

"I know that he has the best intentions," she says. "Definitely most guys don't have the same intentions that he does."

'Want to Shout from Rooftops'

Still, Lovato admits it was tough to keep her feelings to herself once she started dating Jonas, 21, after they finished filming Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. (It premieres on the Disney Channel Sept. 3 and airs through the Labor Day weekend.)

"You want to say to your fans, 'Guess what, I'm so in love with somebody.' You want to shout it from the rooftops. That's what you do when you fall in love," she says. "At the same time, I learned my lesson. You know, I'll go public when I marry someone one day."

While Jonas has been spotted out with Twilight star Ashley Greene – he declined to comment on whether or not they're dating – Lovato says she isn't in a rush to start a new love connection. "No new romances. I'm perfectly happy with being single. I feel like also if I was going to have a new romance, I'd keep it private," she says.

In the meantime, Lovato is touring with the Jonas Brothers and members of the Camp Rock 2 cast – and she and Jonas are back to being friends. "Working with [Joe] has been fine," she adds. "It's been really great."

In November, HarperCollins Children's Division will launch a Vampire Diaries spin-off book series entitled Stefan's Diaries.

The Stefan's Diaries trilogy will serve as a prequel to L.J. Smith's original Vampire Diaries novels and the Alloy Entertainment television series. Both chronicle the supernatural adventures of Elena Gilbert.

The prequel will follow Stefan Salvatore, a vampire feuding with his older brother. Stefan's Diaries #1: Origins will explain the detailed story behind the animosity. Hint: it has something to do with a girl.

Kevin Kristopik, the (now former) fan targeted in a tweet by Justin Bieber after he got the pop star's cellphone number and allegedly sent unwanted texts, was flooded by more than 26,000 text messages and calls before he shut down his phone account, he told the Detroit Free Press on Monday.

Kevin's dad, Mike Kristopik, told the paper that the Biebs was trying to get his son -- who won't exactly say how he got the singer's number -- to stop texting him, and that it worked. Still, said the elder Kristopik, "if it costs us $2,000 or $10,000, it's out of line."

By the time he talked to the Detroit News, that estimate had grown: "If I have a $20,000 bill, I'm going to be pretty upset," he said.

"I thought it was some kind of prank number," one JB fan who called the number told Gawker. "I didn't think Justin Bieber would be stupid enough to post his own number."

A local radio host told the Detroit News that Kevin had e-mailed the show last week ago to brag about hacking into the Facebook account of one of Bieber's friends. WKQI-FM host Spike said Kevin wanted tickets to Bieber's concert and closed his e-mail by saying, "Give me tickets or I'll hack you."

Whether Bieber or his friend will press charges against Kevin Kristopik is still up in the air, the News said, with no comment from Bieber's camp.

That aside, and perhaps unfortunately for Kevin, texts don't come free of charge, even when Justin Bieber is involved. Especially those texts that might originate from international numbers, which are the ones Mike Kristopik told the Free Press he's most concerned about.

One Ministry service provider charges a quarter per international text and a dime for "all messages whether sent or received, read or unread, solicited or unsolicited," with messages longer than 160 characters being broken up into chunks, each of which counts separately.

And that doesn't even figure in the cost of the burned-out brain cells from receiving messages with content -- and grammar and spelling -- along the lines of, "their trying to make it justin's fault! when it's not!!!!!!!!!! if another celeb did that it would be fine!! ugh.......... everyone is such jb haterz! i luv justin bieber! and i would pick bieber every time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i <3 jb."

Perhaps the Kristopiks were signed up for the truly "unlimited" texting plan.

Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene have had the rumor mill spinning for quite some time. After Joe made an appearance at the London premiere of "Eclipse" earlier this year (where he posed with Nikki Reed and was in town to check out baby bro, Nick, in "Les Miserables"), Joe and Ashley reportedly went out on a date while abroad. Then, a photo of the pair, taken last week, popped up where they were spotted getting some java in L.A., walking beside one another, looking very platonic. And, up until now, Joe has never really addressed the rumors of a romance between the "Twilight" star and himself, until he made a stop by Fox News on Monday morning, where he graciously didn’t' confirm or deny the rumors.

He more or less said, "Like we said, we try to balance personal and professional life … that's our personal life."
While we're still not sure of the true nature of their relationship (it is their business after all!), we are intrigued by the idea of the two of them and how they are managing to make a friendship work given their busy careers (he's on tour with his brothers and pal Demi Lovato), meanwhile she's busy filming "LOL" with Miley Cyrus.

Now that the Harry Potter franchise is coming to a close, plenty of new opportunities will be presented to the actors who've been tethered to the series for the better part of 10 years. Emma Watson recently chopped off almost all of her hair as a celebration of her newfound freedom, and it looks like Daniel Radcliffe may have yet another project on the horizon. Though the young actor is already set to star in another new gothic thriller The Woman in Black, Entertainment Biz (via STYD) reports Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel
have expressed an interest in him joining Jay and Seth vs The Apocalypse, as he is "keen to get involved."

If you don't recall, the story is based on a short film that Rogen and writing partner Evan Goldberg made a little while back about two loser guys who are dealing with the apocalypse right outside their window. Rogen and Goldberg share writing duties with the former taking one of the lead roles alongside Jay Baruchel. This mutual interest for Radcliffe to join certainly makes the project sound a bit more interesting, but word from representatives of the 21 year-old actor have only confirmded him for The Woman in Black and a stint on Broadway for the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. His move to the theater for a certain amount of time doesn't necessarily count him out of the project since it's not starting immediately.

Lindsay Lohan Will Be Released This Week!

According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan will definitely be getting out of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital this week!

TMZ says:

"Our sources say Lindsay's doctors have not written their final report, but they have already concluded her psychiatric problems are not nearly as severe as first thought. We've been told there were indications Lindsay was bipolar but that proved not to be the case.

In addition, the doctors do not believe the drug dependency issues are as severe as first thought. As we reported, Lindsay had big issues with Adderall, but the docs don't think it requires much more inpatient care.

Bottom line ... sources say it's "very possible" Lindsay is getting out this week and will begin getting outpatient care.

One obstacle -- the judge must approve early release. We're told once the doctors write their final report, Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, can go back into court and ask the judge to spring her client from her 90-day rehab sentence.

If the medical professionals think releasing her is a good idea, the judge will almost certainly go along with it."

Sunday (August 15) was an eventful day for Kanye West, Justin Bieber and Raekwon's Twitter followers. The Louis Vuitton Don, the Biebs and the Chef chatted on the social-networking website about teaming up to record what would likely be a mind-blowing collaboration.

It all began on Sunday morning when Yeezy typed that he had contracted Bieber Fever and was digging the Canadian teen's music.

"Listening to @Justin Bieber 'Run Away love,' " West tweeted. "I love Sunday mornings in the crib."

About an hour later, Yeezy revealed that not only did he have the Bieber track on repeat, he shares a similar song title on his upcoming album.

"But I have listened to Runaway Love about 10 times so far," West wrote. "Ironically I got a song called Runaway on my new album too."

Rarely do the outspoken lyricist's musings go unnoticed and soon Bieber began responding to 'Ye's Twitter props.

"It's not a so what moment for me. I'm 16 and a fan. I'm kinda hyped u are listening to my stuff. Thank u. Nice sunday morning," Bieber replied. 'Ye continued the e-love-fest and proposed that he, Bieber and Rae work on a track together.

"I'm honored that you like my Music @JustinBieber!!!" West tweeted. "You gotta hear the album. Maybe we can do something together. Me, You and Raekwon."

After bringing up the idea of throwing the Chef into the mix, 'Ye explained that Rae once jumped on one of his much-loved R&B and hip-hop collabos.

"Yo [Wu-Tang Clan's Ghostface] and Rae were on one of my favorite Jodeci remixes of all time," West wrote. 'Ye also suggested that the Staten Island MC should bring his Wu flavor to Bieber's music. "Maybe me and Rae should hop on Runaway Love! FLEX would drop bombs!"

Melding the gritty, boom-bap sounds of Raekwon with the cheery soulful pop of Justin Bieber and the genre-straddling jams of Kanye West might appear challenging. However, Bieber, who tweeted that he plays an acoustic version of 'Ye's 808s and Heartbreak hit, "Heartless," said that he's up for the task.

"Me, u, and the chef 2gether on a song = EPIC," Bieber wrote. "Might sound crazy 2 u but even having this convo is living the dream. Thanks."

Although Rae didn't type a response to either artist, the Only Built 4 Cuban Linx MC did re-tweet Bieber's reply.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he is having a tough time making small talk with the ladies.

Radcliffe, 21, who is back to chasing girls after his split from long-term girlfriend, actress Laura O’Toole, also admitted that he finds dating to be quite nerve-racking as it is not something he is used to.

“I was in a relationship for about three years. At the moment, I’m just being single and running around chasing girls,” the Sun quoted him as saying.

“I’m not getting too many responses, but, yes, I’m having a go. I’m also starting to go on dates for the first time. I’ve never really done it because all my girlfriends I’ve met through work.

“So we got to know each other really well at work then kind of ended up going out.

“Not that I struggle with talking, but I have this incredible anxiety about awkward silences and pauses and all that stuff, which I think everyone worries about.

“And I get quite wound up about that beforehand. I do actually manage to get quite chatty in the end – probably too much – and probably a bit boring,” he added.

Grosse Pointe South High School has been transformed into a movie set this week as filming continues on the Hollywood comedy “LOL,” starring Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore.

The school has been standing in since Wednesday for fictional Wrigley High School in Chicago. Cyrus plays a 15-year-old student who’s dealing with boy problems and the breakup of her parents.

A crowd of up to 40 people, mostly teenage girls, was camped outside Grosse Pointe South on Wednesday and today and eager to catch a glimpse of the pop star-actress. Filming is taking place in a gym, hallways and three classrooms at the Grosse Pointe Farms school, as well as in an assistant principal’s office and a courtyard between two buildings.

“They’re using a lot of the school, everything except what’s needed for fall sports,” says Principal Al Diver, who shared lunch twice with the “LOL” cast and crew.

Diver found Cyrus and her father, singer Billy Ray Cyrus, to be “very low-key and surprisingly down-to-earth.” He asked Miley Cyrus for an autograph for his granddaughter.

Meanwhile, Cyrus sightings have kept cell phones humming around the shopping area known as the Village on Kercheval Avenue in Grosse Pointe.
“It’s getting a little obsessive,” says 16-year-old Olivia Ray of Grosse Pointe Park, who watched as Cyrus was pursued by autograph seekers while trying to buy a bag of chips at CVS.
“She told everyone to quit stalking her, to give her some space,” says Ray. “I can understand her frustration, but she could have been a little less rude about it.”

Pretty Little Liars' Ian Harding talks 'off-limits' relationship

Pretty Little Liars' Mid-Season Finale is on Tonight at 8pm.

Ian Harding knew playing a high school teacher involved with his student was rife with potential pitfalls, but when he read the script for Pretty Little Liars, he looked for "the heart in it." In Tuesday's midseason finale at 8/7c, Harding's character Ezra and Aria (Lucy Hale) have a serious conversation in which, Harding says, "A lot of truth is spoken." The 23-year-old actor spoke to TVGuide.com about Ezra's entanglement with the underage Aria and what's it like for Harding himself to adjust to becoming a heartthrob (and Teen Choice Award winner).

TVGuide.com: What did you think when you first read your storyline?
Ian Harding: I didn't really judge it too much because I knew there was so much of a taboo on it, but it's not like he's 50 or something. It's kind of like the perfect storm of the situation, so I said, "OK, where's the heart in it?" and I just found that and played that.

TVGuide.com: Were you surprised ABC Family would push those limits?
Harding: To sum it up in one sentence, my friend has been watching the show, one of my guy friends from back home, and he called me out of the blue and his first response was, "A new kind of family, indeed!" And I think that sums it up. They are pushing the limits, but I don't think anything is overly gratuitous. What's so special about this show is that it plays these situations that are seemingly wrong or morally questionable, but they play it with heart and you have to find that for everything. The show will consistently paint people in a new light. I feel bad for people that had to pitch this show. Young teacher, high school student, ABC Family. That may sound bad, but ultimately it's done with a lot of soul.

TVGuide.com: In the last episode, Ezra came back and tells Aria that things can't go back to what they were. Does he really mean it?
Harding: I think that's his brain talking. The whole dilemma is that he's torn between his brain and his heart and I think they're disconnected for him. Because on paper she is off-limits and it's hard to say, "Wait a minute. This is a once in a lifetime thing."

TVGuide.com: When he talks to Aria's mom, the subtext seemed so obvious. Do you think she knows?
Harding: Maybe in that scene, it's the case; I'm not sure. It's all up in the air. We could get a script this fall and it says she's known all along, so I'm not quite sure. It was filled with subtext, but then again what scene in this show is not filled with subtext.

TVGuide.com: Aria has started to move on, so what will this mean for them?
Harding: More juiciness, to put it simply. I would certainly get jealous if some guy was moving in on my girl.

TVGuide.com: In the midseason finale, she calls him out on what went wrong. What can you say about that?
Harding: A lot of truth is spoken, so that will affect him in a way that will spur him to action.

TVGuide.com: Do you have your own ideas about who A is?
Harding: Oh, I have many, but I just don't know and that, I guess, is the point. They're introducing new characters and extending certain storylines and extrapolating upon a small scene that was in the book and making it a whole episode. It's anybody's guess.

Sale benefiting the philanthropic social network Get Ur Good On begins later this month.

Miley Cyrus is cleaning out her closet — for a good cause.

She's just announced plans to auction off her clothing and accessories on eBay. The proceeds will benefit Get Ur Good On, a social network aimed at connecting youth with volunteer and service opportunities in and around their communities.

"For me I get this amazing blessing and opportunity to do this every day and get up on stage and hopefully inspire people with my music," Cyrus said in a video message posted on the Get Ur Good On site. "And that's something that's really important to me, but so is getting involved in charities."

In recent months, it's been Cyrus' clothing (or lack thereof) that's garnered most of the headlines. But the new auction is just the latest charity endeavor she's undertaken with Youth Service America, the organization that runs Get Ur Good On. Earlier this summer, she served as a spokesperson for YSA's "Blessings in a Backpack" mission, which provides weekend meals to children on free- or reduced-lunch programs.

"There's amazing charities right here in America. You don't have to travel 30 hours ... you don't have to give a billion dollars. It's not about how much or how far, it's about looking at your neighbors and seeing how you can help," Cyrus said. "This isn't just stuff that's all over the world, it's right here, it's right next to you. It's important to get involved."

THE boy within Daniel Radcliffe emerged more quickly than a Quaffle ball in a high-speed Quidditch match at Hogwarts when he was asked by American television chat show host Jimmy Kimmel what one of the world’s richest youngsters could possibly want for his 21st birthday last month.

“A personal jet pack,” he blurted out immediately. “So I can hover above everyone while you’re all sitting in your chairs.”

With an estimated £42 million in the bank, courtesy of six Harry Potter blockbuster films, it seems Radcliffe, at least in part, can’t let the young wizard or his broomstick (even a metaphorical one) go.

Yet the fact is the young actor who was only 12 when the franchise burst on to cinema screens in 2001 with Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone, will never set foot on a Potter set again.

Both parts of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows (the first of which will be released in Britain on November 19 with Part 2 due out next summer) have been wrapped and Radcliffe has told executives at Fox that there will be no magical comeback, even if JK Rowling were to write a follow-up adventure.

So what can a lad who has just reached manhood possibly do next? Blow his fortune in the time-honoured tradition of many a Hollywood brat? Or try to trump the stellar performances that have won him millions of fans worldwide and an army of adoring females (including socialite Olive Uniacke, with whom he has recently been romantically linked)?

None of the above, actually. On July 23, the day of his 21st birthday, he broke off from a family celebration at home in Britain to push himself through a gruelling two-hour dance class to keep in trim for a role on Broadway and three new movies, on one of which hinges the rebirth of one of the world’s most famous motion picture studios.

Next month, Radcliffe is due to start filming The Woman in Black, based on the spooky 1983 suspense novel by Susan Hill. The film version will be released under the banner of Hammer Film Productions, a company that is emerging from the grave after more than three decades.

“This film brings a genuine smile to my face because Hammer is the company that everyone wants to succeed,” says Radcliffe, looking more like an extra from a horror film himself in his tattered jeans and scruffy chic T-shirt rather than a multi-millionaire celluloid whizz-kid.

“Hammer is such an important part of our film heritage. It was a massive producer of films in its heyday, truly prolific. There were tons of them, with actors like Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. It’s wonderful to see that company, that name, in a resurgence.”

Hammer’s The Woman In Black, slated for release next spring, will get a major spotlight simply because of its famous male lead but some Hollywood observers are already wondering if Radcliffe’s face, so familiar after a decade of Harry Potter, will make film fans snigger rather than shiver.

Gone are the round glasses and pudding-basin haircut and Radcliffe, who plays a young father in the movie, admits: “It worries me but the challenge is to look like a dad. If I get that right that is something that separates me immediately from Harry.

“The script is so good and the characters are so clear there is actually reduced pressure on me to be constantly ‘different’. Once people are into the story, they will be watching this really compelling movie and will stop, I hope, thinking about me.”

Hammer chief executive Simon Oakes is confident that will be the case, saying: “We are trying to create smart horror films that are not ‘gorenography’ and have good story lines that attract talent and are relevant to modern audiences.

“Dan is a brilliant actor and is much, much more than the person who played Harry Potter. He was playing a boy in the Potter films, or perhaps a young adult. Here, he’s playing a man.

“Today, audiences know actors much more as individuals. There’s a strong awareness of them quite aside from their roles.”

His lead role in The Woman In Black has clearly, however, cast a spell over Radcliffe, who reveals: “When I first met our director James Watkins he told me about a quote of Stanley Kubrick’s, which was that all films about the afterlife or ghosts are innately consoling.

“I think there’s something about that that is very true to our story. While it is a horror story and it is very frightening it’s also about loss and grief. I read the script on a plane and I don’t know what the people around me must have thought as I kept jumping and gasping.”

At about the same time cinema audiences get their first look at a grown-up, non-Potter Radcliffe next spring, he will be treading the boards on Broadway in New York in the classic play How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.

“Hence the dance classes,” says Radcliffe. “We open on March 27 and although that sounds a long way away, you need to keep in tip-top shape to perform night after night at the theatre.”

This is Radcliffe’s second Broadway role following his appearance in Equus in 2008 during which he smoked, swore, watched porn and famously stood naked on stage.

In between rehearsals Radcliffe will also be shooting a remake of the 1930 Oscar-winning First World War classic All Quiet On The Western Front in which he plays a young German soldier sent to the trenches with his friends and The Journey Is The Destination, a biopic about English photojournalist Dan Eldon who, with three colleagues, was slain by an angry mob in Mogadishu in July 1993.

The film is based on the journals of Eldon, to be played by Radcliffe, who will be cutting his acting chops on his first big screen action thriller.

“It will be an astonishing year: playing a dad, a German soldier and a gutsy newsman as well as performing on Broadway again,” says the young superstar,

Then there are the final two Harry Potter films, although Radcliffe is adamant: “People really have only ever seen my face with glasses on it. That’s about to change, big time.”

The Canadian pop singer announced Monday that he will star as himself in a 3D biopic to be released in time for next Valentine's Day.

And he says he's also at work on a memoir, due in October. The book is titled Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story. A comic book about the 16-year-old singer also comes out in October.

On Twitter, Bieber called the movie project "incredible news." The movie, as yet untitled, will include footage of his current tour, which swings into Scotiabank Place on Aug. 24. Davis Guggenheim, who won an Oscar for helming An Inconvenient Truth, is in negotiations to direct.

Why all the fuss? The actress, 20, had been required to keep essentially the same long, blonde hairstyle for ten years while she played Harry Potter’s bookish pal, Hermione Granger, in the $5.4 billion-grossing Potter franchise. But Watson, who’s about to enter her second year at Brown University, finished shooting the final two films earlier this summer. (Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1, will be released this Nov. 19. Part 2 will be released next summer, on July 15).

When filming ended, Watson’s hair was finally her own. She could have cut her hair immediately, but she decided to wait a bit. “It didn’t feel right then; I needed a break,” she tells EW.com exclusively. During the cut, designed by New York stylist Rodney Cutler of Cutler Salon, Watson never had a moment of panic or remorse. “It was weird. My hairdresser was like, ‘When are you going to freak out?’ Most people cry or go into shock,’” she says. “But I was very calm. I knew it was the right thing.” It helped, she said, that she didn’t tell anyone she was getting the drastic ‘do. “I went to the salon alone and I left alone,” she says. “I knew everyone was going to have an opinion, and I couldn’t deal with it. I have to get myself into a good place to deal with people saying things like, ‘It’s terrible! She looks like a boy!’” Says the actress, laughing, “My dad already said that to me, actually. He said, ‘You’re not Audrey Hepburn yet, darling.’”

Taylors Swift and Lautner Reuniting in Valentine's Day Sequel?

If you've been living under a celluloid rock, the world's romantic comedy stars joined together in February's hot mess, Valentine's Day, and we got treated to tons of celebs popping up for a few minutes here and there in the mostly-OK flick.

Did you miss it? Perhaps you did.

We got Jessica Alba, Bradley Cooper, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel and a ton of other stars showing off their rom-com chops. Including former lovebirds Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner.

For the two pretty teens, this film lit the spark in their once-fiery relationship (Tay-Squared, anyone?). So you can guess how freakin' interested we were when a certain knowledgeable source dropped a hint about the film's upcoming sequel, New Year's Eve...

Turns out it features an all-new cast of characters (quick, somebody call Jennifer Aniston, and please nobody tell Gerard Butler). Unless, of course, one particular starlet is asked to stay—none other than darling Swift!

"They were thinking about having Taylor Swift be in college at NYU," whispers one of our sneakiest sources (who's directly involved with the sequel project). "They were throwing her name out there a while back."

If this is comes to pass, Taylor would probably be the one single cast member returning for the sequel, with the exception of director Garry Marshall mainstay favorite Hector Elizondo, who would return as the grandfather figure.

That's great and stuff, but what's burning on our minds is, would the other half of Tay-Squared also make a return appearance in the sequel?

"I don't think Taylor Lautner would come back," sassed our source. "They only mentioned Taylor Swift, and she's not even in right now."

The chances are slim of both toothy types returning, but ooh, we can just imagine the gooey stuff that would be an on-screen Taylor-Taylor reunion! Can't you?!

producer Tarquin Pack had this to say about the new X Men movie during today's interview with Movieweb:

There was a rumor that Aaron Johnson was portraying Cyclops. Is that happening at all? Are there any other cast members you can tell us about?

Tarquin Pack: Nothing you don't know about, yeah. Don't believe everything you read in the papers about Aaron, unfortunately. Aaron's kind of busy, yeah.

Can you talk a bit about the tone of the film? Will this be similar to the first three films or will you be going in a different direction, tonally?

Tarquin Pack: I think the first two (X-Men and X2: X-Men United) are the closest to the sort of movie we want to make. This isn't going to be a Kick-Ass version of X-Men. It is what it is and I think Matthew will bring a freshness to it. He has a way of authoring movies, like you see in Layer Cake, Stardust and Kick-Ass, that nuanced outlook will be in X-Men because that's just the way he is as a director. That's just the way he works. I think all of the movies he's done, where you expect him to turn right, he turns left. That's why Fox asked him to do an X-Men movie and, even though it's a big, franchise American movie, and you might think he'll be turning right like everyone else would, we'll still be turning left (Laughs).

There was a story that came out a few days ago where Matthew said he had seen Inception and had to cut a few pages out of the script. Can you elaborate on those revisions at all?

Tarquin Pack: I can't go into great detail, but let's just say that an idea we thought we had that was brilliant and original... damn that Christopher Nolan (Laughs). In the end, there were cuts. You always want everything to be in your film, but they were kind of irritating changes to make, because it was a really cool idea, but I think there's a possibility that there's a version of it that we might be able to use as well. In the end, it wasn't that we had to remove all this stuff in the film that didn't make sense, it was more that it was a really cool device that we thought we were going to be using.

X-Men: First Class comes to theaters June 3rd, 2011 and stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Caleb Landry Jones, Nicholas Hoult, Kevin Bacon, Jennifer Lawrence, Edi Gathegi. The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn.

Glee's Post Super Bowl Ep to be a Tribute to a Major Pop Artist!

Carol Burnett will play Sue Sylvester's mother in an episode of "Glee" this fall, reports Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly. Imagine Burnett tugging on her ear and singing "I'm So Glad We Had This Time Together" while wearing a track suit. The mind reels with the possibility.

It's yet another smart bit of high-caliber star casting for the Fox musical, and one that was hinted at a few weeks ago at Comic-Con. During a press conference prior to the "Glee" panel, a reporter asked each of the cast and crew members present who they would like to see make a guest appearance. Someone -- I believe it was creator/executive producer Ryan Murphy -- definitely mentioned Burnett. Those "Glee" people are so clever at making their ideas seem completely spontaneous.

At Comic-Con and during the TCA press tour, Murphy and co. also noted that the big post-Super Bowl episode of "Glee" will feature a tribute to a major pop artist, but they did not say who because negotiations are ongoing. Now that we know the Burnett news is a done deal, I say it's time to speculate as to who that pop artist might be, at least in our fantasies. Some names we can rule out: Britney Spears, since a Britney episode has already been confirmed for another episode next season; Madonna (even though they plan to do another tribute, presumably it won't be for the Super Bowl); Paul McCartney, who already will have his music featured in another episode next season; and Lady Gaga (also been done). So who could it be? Let's take some guesses.

Beyoncé: As the "Single Ladies" homages have proven, "Glee" loves Sasha Fierce. And she certainly qualifies as a major pop star. Also worth noting: while Ms. Knowles has performed the national anthem at a Super Bowl, she has yet to headline a halftime show. And I have to think that whoever winds up singing during the big game break may be the same person who gets top-tribute billing on "Glee."

Janet Jackson: Remember what I just said about the person who sings at halftime definitely being the subject of the "Glee" tribute show? Here's one scenario where that wouldn't be the case. But Jackson would make a pretty delicious choice, given her breast-baring role in the most controversial Super Bowl performance of all time, not to mention her status as pop royalty. In its own, show-tuney way, "Glee" is a show that relishes the opportunity to stick its out-and-proud thumb in the eye of authority. And what better way to do that than by putting Miss Jackson front and center? Added bonus: the entire cast could dress in military-style garb and do a "Rhythm Nation." Even better: Kurt could do a cover of "Nasty."

Prince: The idea of a Prince episode has been floated and approved in the "Gleek"-osphere. There's no question the guy certainly has an amazing catalogue of music to choose from, one that, in my humble opinion, might make "The Power of Madonna" seem slightly less powerful by comparison. But it's unclear whether he's want to do something like this. And the fact that he did the Super Bowl halftime show a few years ago makes this seem less likely.

Jennifer Lopez: If J. Lo is confirmed as an "American Idol" judge, consider this possibility all the more likely. The Super Bowl episode will air Feb. 6, 2011, most likely a few weeks after "Idol's" new season begins. Putting her on "Glee" is a cross-marketing opportunity Fox -- not to mention Lopez -- probably would not want to pass up.

Mariah Carey: The best thing about a Carey tribute is the potential for a hit-the-high-note contest between Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, frequent guest star Kristen Chenoweth, and Carey. Some people will be putting money on the big game that Sunday; if this circumstance comes to pass, the "Gleeks" would all be betting on which of these vocalists is most likely to break glass.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson has been replaced as the face of fashion house Burberry for a forthcoming advertising campaign. This is despite the actress, who plays Hermione in the films, being credited with boosting sales during her year-long association with the brand.

Watson, 20, is being sidelined in favour of another British star, Transformers actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She began her career as a model and is best known for her work for lingerie firm Victoria's Secret.

The 23-year-old will front adverts for Burberry's autumn and winter collections but the company has not ruled out using Watson again in the future. A Burberry spokesman told Sky News Online she remains a firm part of its plans.

The British firm's latest results certainly give weight to Watson's apparent success. It reported double digit sales growth and a 24% rise in revenues over the three months to the end of June.

What about stunt work for you? Did you have to do any sort of training or anything?

I had this crazy rig that I had to be on. It was invented for The Matrix. It was 30 feet tall and 20 feet long arm, and this gyroscopic wheel that's around your waist and it moves off of your weight. It just seems like, 'Oh, that's fun and easy,' but it required so much core strength to slowly control this thing. I would also go on it and go nuts and do cartwheels and spins and send the videos to my nephews. 'Look how cool your aunt is!' That was just the best part of it to me. But if we went on to a second or third, that's when I really get to do the stunts because she becomes a villain.

What sets this one apart from every other superhero movie out there?

Well, the Green Lantern is a really unique film in that it's interplanetary. There's the city that it takes place in on Earth, and you know we have our cool things that we do there, like pilot planes. But then there's also the outer space realm. There's aliens from all over the galaxy. So it encompasses so much, it's such a big film, it's such a huge undertaking, and that's something that you don't normally see. You either see space or you see Earth, but to have both in one film is unique.

Is there a shadowing of Star Sapphire in this film?

You know, her piloting name is Star Sapphire. We drop little hints towards all the stories in the comics. But, you know, Star Sapphire is a little bit further down the road. It's more Sinestro that we [have] this time.

Are you looking excited to be a villain?

I would love to be a villain.

Justin Bieber’s concert movie/bio pic still needs its director. Paramount Pictures confirmed today that Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Davis Guggenheim will not be joining the 3-D project. The director of the upcoming Waiting for Superman documentary was a name being considered for the project, but his promotional duties surrounding his film on our nation’s troubled public education system prevents him from focusing on another movie at this time. Guggenheim officially passed on the project last night.

The helmer, whose previous credits include An Inconvenient Truth, was never attached to the project, so it’s unfair to say that he has dropped off it. Deadline Hollywood first reported the news.

Lindsay Lohan may be in court-ordered rehab, but tonight she’ll make her first post-jail appearance — as a digital hologram, anyway — at Milk Studios, when Marc Ecko "unveils her" as the muse for his Cut & Sew line. Before heading into the slammer, Lohan shot four film-noir-inspired skits with photography team Markus Klinko and Indrani, stars of the Bravo reality series Double Exposure. (Indrani is also rumored to have had an intense, possibly romantic relationship with Lohan, naturally.) Klinko and Indrani filmed Lohan using high-def cameras and “augmented reality” technology. All of Ecko’s advertisements will contain a glyph that, when held up to a webcam, projects a hologram of a digital Lohan dressed in vintage costumes and, presciently, horizontally striped leggings.

“Originally, the concept was pretty simple, but then we had a fifteen-page script that appeared at the last minute, and she was able to work with that," says Indrani. Adds Klinko, “She came in and learned her lines in five minutes, and then she really went beyond the lines and improvised. She showed huge emotional range. It was impressive and moving to watch."

But Daniel Radcliffe has little to fear on that front. For the young lady he has been seen with of late is used to a little luxury herself.

Olive Uniacke, 19, who was pictured with the Harry Potter actor on his birthday trip to Russia and in London with him, is the stepdaughter of David Heyman, the multi-millionaire producer of the Harry Potter films.

Her mother, Rose, is a renowned interior designer. A friend explained:

'Olive and Dan have known each other a long time, ever since the Harry Potter films started.

They were close a few years ago but the relationship fizzled out then.

Even so, they have always remained friends. And in the last few months they have grown closer again.

Olive has money in her own right so is certainly not a gold-digger.

But Dan’s not traditionally her type. She has usually gone for bad boys and Dan is quite preppy.'

Miss Uniacke, studied at the prestigious Gordonstoun school in Scotland, where Prince Charles was educated, and at the French Lycee in Kensington, West London, where Madonna’s daughter Lourdes is a pupil. And she certainly seems to have celebrity tastes.

The friend added: 'Olive is renowned for holding some of the best house parties, really great bashes. She can be quite wild. She loves to drink champagne, particularly Moet, and she chain-smokes Camel cigarettes. She also loves to go nightclubbing.'

Recently, Miss Uniacke has been working alongside Radcliffe, 21, on the final Potter film as a set PA. Filming on Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows finished recently.

A colleague said: ‘Olive is a lovely young lady – and she and Dan have been close for a long time. She was always in and out of his dressing room during filming and she has always been really protective over him.’

Her stepfather, 49, produced all the films. Last year he was reported to have bought a £11 million home in Pimlico, complete with a ballroom.

Miss Uniacke, who lives in a £1.2 million house in Hammersmith, West London, was also spotted watching cricket with Radcliffe at the Oval recently.

'Dexter' star Courtney Ford joining 'The Vampire Diaries' next season

Someone new is joining the world of "The Vampire Diaries" next season. According to a new report from Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly, Courtney Ford has been cast to play Vanessa, a student at Duke University who has a little bit more going on than initially meets the eye.

While at Comic-Con, executive producer Kevin Williamson opened up a little bit about the character, who will be spending plenty of time with Elena and Damon:

“She’s not without her own intrigue. It’ll be a nice little part for someone. And it’s a part that could evolve into this massive story line or we could gut her like a fish.”

Ford most recently played major part on "Dexter", as she was Tiffany, the daughter of the Trinity Killer throughout season four.

Miley Cyrus Shares Another Secret About Hannah Montana

"Hannah Montana Forever" so far has been about adjustment. Would Miley Cyrus' character adjust to a new home, and would she be able to keep her secret under wraps? By the end of Sunday's new episode, there was one person who knew the truth about Hannah's identity.

The whole process started when Jackson's girlfriend Siena saw Hannah through the window, and everyone quickly went into damage control to claim that she didn't exactly see what she thought she did. The problem for Jackson was simple -- after seeing him on the front cover of magazines with Hannah Montana, Siena was convinced that the two had some sort of romantic history.

In the end, the only problem with this episode may be the message that came out of this plot. Rather than telling Siena herself about the secret in order to preserve her brother's relationship, it took Lily making a comment for the truth to actually come out. Wouldn't it have been better if Siena heard it from a willing Miley Stewart? Maybe.

The other plot this week was silly -- Miley's dad helping Rico relax with some fishing -- but it did lead to a fun moment at the end of the episode where our resident rich kid went to great lengths to catch a big one.

TV Guide's Interview With Pretty Little Liars' Hefty Hanna

With only two episodes left before ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars (Tuesday 8/7c) goes on hiatus, star Ashley Benson tells TVGuide.com that her character Hanna is beginning to care less about who her friends want her to be. Which could be good news for Lucas, the nerdy boy next store who isn't likely to pass the friend test. Of course, she also has other problems, starting with messages she and her friends are getting from the mysterious "A."

TVGuide.com: What have we yet to learn about Hanna?
Ashley Benson: She's really coming into her own and has changed a lot personality-wise. She's figuring out who she wants to be, and she's not going by what everyone else expects her to be. It's really fun to watch her develop as a person.

TVGuide.com: How is she going to handle the struggle between wanting to be the popular girl with the hot boyfriend and her budding relationship with Lucas, a nerd?

Benson: Honestly, I don't think she's really going to care that much. As the show goes on she's more free-spirited about it and she's going to do what she wants. If she likes Lucas, she's going to take that risk because it's not that big of a deal to her anymore to be popular. She has so much going on in her life right now that she needs support and a friend there that she can talk to besides the girls. She was in Lucas' position awhile back, she knows what it's like to feel left out and made fun of, so they have a lot in common and they're really great for each other. They make each other laugh and they're really comfortable. It's really cute because he's so scared of her, but she's telling him she's just like him and there's no difference between them. I can't wait to see how that relationship goes and if they get together.

TVGuide.com: Is that why Hanna is so understanding of Emily and Maya's relationship?

Benson: Yeah. Hanna has been through a lot in her life and she has always been judged. It's great that Hanna is being really supportive of Emily because she should. There isn't a problem with Emily liking a girl and if Hanna's the only one who knows, she has to be supportive.

TVGuide.com: Which of the four girls do you most relate to?

Benson: I really relate to my character. I know what it's like to be left out ... I certainly went through a period of time where I got made fun of and people were so mean to me, so I can really relate to that. I don't so much relate to the other girls, but I love Aria's style on the show. The audience can really pick a girl that struggles with the same struggles they have.

TVGuide.com: As you were filming, did you constantly change your mind about who A was?

Benson: Definitely. There are so many people it can be so I don't know where the writers are going to go with it. Everybody's got an eerie kind of vibe to them. There are a lot of characters being introduced in the last two episodes so they're going to be in the next half of the season so there are so many ways it can go.

Lea Michele almost got into a big car crash!

While making her way to The Hollywood Reporter's Emmy Roundtable, Glee actress Lea Michele nearly was involved in a pretty serious accident that involved several cars Sunday afternoon.

While stopped at the intersection, a car ran a red light and collided with a truck, causing the truck to flip over multiple times before eventually stopping feet from Michele's vehicle. She immediately exited the car and stepped safely to the side of the road and made her way to the Chateau Marmont. Check out pics of her below from Fox's TCA party last night!

Mindy Kaling of The Office was also tied up in traffic that developed as a result of the accident while making her way to the roundtable.

Police didn't release any more details.

A Justin Bieber movie is happening

Deadline New York reports that Paramount has made a deal to make a 3D Justin Bieber biopic. You heard right, a 3D biographical film. Even more surprising/confusing is that Davis Guggenheim, director of the Oscar-winning AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH, is planning to direct. Really Davis? Really?

From Deadline:

The film doesn't have a title, but Bieber will play himself in the film. The pic will be sprinkled with performances from his current concert tour. The film will come out February 11, 2011 on Valentine's Day weekend.

There is so much about this deal I don't understand. Why is Davis Guggenheim directing? Why Valentine's Day? Why 3D? Why, why, why?

To be honest, it makes sense. Valentine's Day has become quite the marketable holiday and Justin Bieber will bring in lots and lots (and lots) of money. I can already see the fangirls camping out in front of theaters.

Well at least we know what we'll all be doing this Valentine's Day. Forget taking your love to a fancy restaurant, take him/her to see 3D Bieber on the big screen! That'll bode well for your love life.

According to the newest reports, both Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron are seeing their wax figures updated in London. The "Hannah Montana" star is getting a chic gray dress, while Zac is looking dapper in a suit.

Over the past few years both Zac and Miley (who are good friends) have seen quite a drastic change. Efron has went from a "High School Musical" star to a serious movie actor, whereas Miley has worked to make her image more "mature" with a new album entitled "Can't Be Tamed".

Selena Gomez: Critics were hard on me!

If you thought it was easy for Disney stars like Selena Gomez to pick up their own show and land a record deal, you were wrong.

According to Gomez, critics had a hard time accepting her as a serious actor. Though she got her start at age seven on "Barney & Friends" and occasionally guest starred on other Disney shows like "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and "Hannah Montana," she claims no one took her seriously and doubted that she would get anywhere.

"I’ve had people tell me that I would never have my own show," she told The New York Daily News, "that I wasn't talented or strong enough, and I've had a bunch of people criticize my music and my personal style and everything."

Today, Gomez is on her way to wrapping up her own Emmy Award-winning show, "Wizards of Waverly Place," and just starred in a movie, "Ramona and Beezus," which soaked up generally positive reviews from even the top movie critics.

Roger Ebert called Gomez's performance in "Ramona and Beezus" "appealing," while calling the movie a "featherweight G-rated comedy of no consequence."

"Being business-minded so young is more about being passionate with the things that you love," she explains.

Critics might be eating their words now that Gomez has made it big, but were they right in the first place, or did Gomez just get lucky?

Lindsay Lohan was transported early Monday morning directly from a Lynwood jail -- where she had served 13 days for violating probation on a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence -- to a treatment program at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

The paparazzi followed Lohan as she was given a police escort to the treatment facility, a stint required by a Beverly Hills judge who sentenced her to jail.
"She was noticeably moved by the amount of mail and books sent to her," said sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore. "She thanked everybody as she left."

On Sunday morning, her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, told reporters outside Lynwood's Century Regional Detention Facility that she hoped Lohan would have a few hours of freedom to spend with her family before she went into rehab.

"She is trying to comply with all court orders," Holley said, "but she should have 24 hours at home."

The book, due in October, will chronicle Bieber's beginnings in Stratford, Ontario, his work with his manager Scooter Braun, his landing a record deal with Usher and his success in pop music thanks to hits like "Baby" and "Somebody to Love."

"He is a force in the music industry and we are incredibly excited to be publishing this photographic memoir of his amazing journey."

"This is a real coup for us and we are very excited about adding Justin to our autumn program," Harper non-fiction senior commissioning editor Anna Valentine added. "Justin is the hottest star of the moment and this book will be the perfect gift for his millions of fans worldwide."

Bieber also announced on Twitter that he's hard at work on a few other projects. "New Vids comin from both MY WORLD and MY WORLD 2.0 in the coming weeks!" he wrote. "Proud of these albums, proud of the music, and thankful 4 ur support."

The singer, who is currently on tour, is also slated to make his network TV acting debut on "CSI" this September. "CSI premieres on Thursday, Sept 23rd on CBS ... and I told you I was a BAD MAN!!" he tweeted, along with a photo of him being arrested on the show. According to CBS, he plays Jason McCann, a "troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother — a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs."

TMZ has learned Judge Marsha Revel had a change of heart after TMZ's story about Lindsay's rehab -- and now she is headed for treatment at UCLA Medical Center ... exactly what her doctors wanted in the first place.

TMZ broke the story Judge Revel had selected Morningside Recovery -- despite the fact that the two court appointed psychiatrists along with other medical professionals were not recommending that facility. The shrinks put UCLA in their top four, but it was the facility favored by everyone because the treatment program was perfectly suited for Lindsay's psychiatric and drug problems.

We're told Lindsay will not be in the psych ward -- rather this is an intense specialized program to deal with psychological, as well as addiction problems.

Most of the cast of Glee was at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last night for the annual TCA Awards (minus Jane Lynch who was out with laryngitis). And it's a good thing they were — they were the big winners of the evening. The Fox show scooped up "Program of the Year," "Outstanding New Program" and "Individual Achievement in Comedy" for Lynch's portrayal of cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester.

She didn't expand further on this, so I will give some of you some everlasting hope that this is true. But what about the episode that could include the BFFs kissing on screen?

"I don't know," Naya said. "We never know until we get the scripts and I kind of like it that way!"

She seemed very psyched to have lesbian fans that are pulling for her and Brittany. I also asked if she knew of any romantic interests she would be having this year — aka "Don't even tell me they are trying to pull you away from the only lesbian thing we have on this show." Naya had no idea. Ryan Murphy literally leaves them in the dark.

There is a "possibility" Lindsay Lohan will be getting out of jail today, this according to her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley.

Holley says she has her fingers crossed that today's the day, joking, "No offense to the city of Lynwood ... but I am really tired of coming here."

Lindsay Lohan's Rehab is for Meth and Bipolar Disorder

TMZ has learned Lindsay Lohan will be treated for addiction to methamphethamine and bipolar disorder during her court ordered 90 days in rehab.

According to a source familiar with Lindsay's case, methamphetamine and opiates are her "drugs of choice".

Methamphetamine -- also known as crystal meth or simply meth -- is a highly addictive stimulant and opiates, generally, have more of a downer effect.

Morningside Recovery -- the Orange County, CA rehab Lilo's scheduled to enter -- lists opiate and methamphetamine detoxification among its specialties. As TMZ first reported, sources say Morningside was not on the list of facilities recommended by court appointed psychiatrists.

We're told Lindsay will begin her rehab stint almost immediately after getting out of Lynwood Correctional Facility.
